Monday 1/7/08 Warm Weather
It has been ridiculously warm and delightful out. T-shirt weather. This has led to evening frolicks, watching Buffy, and another late late night.
Sunday 1/6/08 Large Coop Squash
I've been doing a lot of cooking in the coop. I was a little worried about the levels of my cooking for large groups skills, but things were actually pretty tasty. Including this squash which was quite large.
Monday 12/31/07 New Years
For New Years I played Wii and drank champagne with surprisingly good results.
Sunday 12/30/07 More Midnight Driving
After leaving Double Rainbow I drove around in the country where all of the mansions are. This one had an enormous lights display. It was a good time.
During the day I had lunch with some of my dad's friends. We went to the Sunshine Cafe for lunch and it was totally and utterly fabulous. In the evening I went to see No Country for Old Men, which has scenes which were shot in many of my favorite hang out spots. Including the Village Inn on Central (pictured).
Saturday 12/29/07 Double Rainbow
I have mixed feelings on this place. It certainly has atmosphere and location going for it. But, it is overpriced and mediocre. Good chai, bad chocolate silk cake.
